Gary Baxter

Gary Baxter, an entrepreneur and former NFL player, has emerged as a powerful advocate for energy development within the minority community. His commitment to energy education, economic empowerment, and environmental justice is unwavering. Recognizing the critical intersection between energy education, energy policies, and community well-being, Baxter created the Energy and Poverty Awareness Action Center (EnPAC). This platform champions initiatives that bring forward more thoughtful energy policies, energy education, and sustainable solutions to minority underserved neighborhoods, creating economic growth and job opportunities. His belief in the transformative power of energy development is not just a belief but a conviction rooted in the understanding that it can uplift communities, provide job opportunities, reduce economic disparities, and foster a healthier environment.

Energy Development and Minority Communities

For Baxter, the connection between energy development and the minority community is deeply personal. Having witnessed the challenges faced by marginalized communities throughout his life, growing up in East Texas and living in Baltimore, he fully understands the potential of affordable and sustainable energy initiatives to break down systemic barriers. He hopes to inspire others to be more educated voters by championing diversity across energy sources and advocating for inclusive policies despite these obstacles.

Baxter envisions a future where minorities benefit from the energy economic opportunities arising from the energy sector and play a pivotal role in shaping the energy industry. His dedication to this cause is a testament to the belief that energy education and development can be a powerful tool for social and economic upliftment, providing a brighter and more equitable future for all.
