The Energy and Poverty Awareness Center (EnPAC) is a non-profit dedicated to advancing reliable and affordable energy policies to help reduce poverty in minority communities and is launching in Houston, Texas, on May 22.

Entrepreneur and former NFL cornerback Gary Baxter founded EnPAC after witnessing how energy policies have created systemic barriers perpetuating poverty among minority communities. EnPAC is poised to champion initiatives that bring more thoughtful policy, education, and sustainable energy solutions to underserved neighborhoods, creating opportunities for economic growth and improved quality of life for marginalized communities.
